MANDATORY TRAINEESHIP

  • Part of the student’s study programme
  • FH WN gives full academic recognition for the period spent abroad, by using ECTS credits in the transcript

VOLUNTARY TRAINEESHIP

  • It has to be confirmed by FH WN that the traineeship is a useful supplement to the studies
  • FH WN provides recognition by recording this period in the Diploma Supplement

TRAINEESHIP FOR GRADUATES

  • Nomination and application within the last year of studies at FH WN
  • Students must carry out and complete their traineeship abroad within one year of obtaining their graduation
  • Students are not allowed to be registered for studies at any university during the duration of the traineeship
  • The duration of a traineeship by recent graduates counts towards the 12 months maximum of the cycle during which they apply for the traineeship
  • It has to be confirmed by FH WN that the traineeship is a useful supplement to the studies
  • Recognition by providing a traineeship certificate


General Regulations

  • Students must carry out their mobility activity in a programme country different from the country of the sending organisation and the country of residence.
  • Grants for special needs are possible.
  • Students have to pay the regular tuition fee at FH WN during the Erasmus+ stay abroad (except traineeship for graduates).
  • Students are responsible to ensure sufficient insurance for the stay abroad.
  • An online language assessment before and after the mobility is mandatory for all students (Erasmus+ Online Linguistic Support), in addition licenses for online language training courses in the mobility language or the language of the host country are available at the IO.
  • Erasmus+ programme countries: 28 EU-countries, Turkey, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. Switzerland does not participate but offers separate grants for mobilities.
